This editing style focuses on the content of your writing. We strive to answer these questions:

This phase includes corrections to spelling and punctuation. 

• Are subjects and verbs in agreement?

• Do references and citations have the proper attributions?

Much like developmental editing, the entire project is reviewed. In substantive editing, the logical flow, tone, style and quality of your project is reviewed.

The final stage of editing. In this phase spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting are finalized. 

• Is the correct word being used? Is it to, too, or two?

• Is there punctuation after every sentence?

• Does it adhere to required style guides?

This line-by-line analysis of your project focuses on word choice and the impact of your words.
